Week #4 - West Virginia, Washington DC, Massachusetts

February 22, Morgantown, West Virginia

Tourist Day! If it's Saturday it must be Morgantown, West Virginia. It's a really cute place with great restaurants, an art district, and a beautiful river walk. I'd love to come back in the summer and paddleboard here. Here's some pics, and no, I don't have the world's longest arm, and I'm nor auditioning for the role of Elastic Man!

February 23, Washington D.C. - Warner Theatre

Good morning from our nation's capital, Washington DC. Playing the Warner Theatre here tonight. After soundcheck today it's off to explore the city.

Exploring DC with Martin Fry ABC and his lovely wife, Julie. Our gig tonight, at the Warner Theatre, is right on Pennsylvania Ave so we had to make the first stop The White House. Boy, the security around it is phenomal, I counted more than thirty Secret Service SUVs, never mind all the regular DC police cars. Crazy. It's a beautiful but cold day here, and we're all excited for the show tonight, especially since it's Howard Jones birthday!

Tonight's meet and greet at the Warner Theatre in Washington was insane. Thank you all for coming.

What an audience! At the end of tonight's show here in DC, Howard Jones was presented with flowers and the entire sold-out crowd sang Happy Birthday to him. The perfect way to end a truly great night at the Warner Theatre.

February 24, Boston, Massachusetts

If it's Monday it must be Boston. The tour bus pulled in this morning, and we have the day off until the concert tomorrow night at the Shubert Theatre. Gorgeous but cold day in this beautiful city.

I took everyone's advice to have the chowder while in Boston - and so it begins.

February 25, Boston, MA - Shubert Theatre Boch Center

The party is at the Boch Center Schubert Theatre in Boston. This classic venue was rocking, 80's style. Check out these pics and videos of the venue.

Let's go backstage at the Boch Center Schubert Theatre. A classic venue, built in 1910.
And now an onstage look at tonight's venue, the Boch Center Schubert Theatre A real classic from.1910.

This night was off to a great start at the Shubert Theatre, Boch Center - Boston, Massachusetts The meet and greet was so much fun - people even drove in from Canada (our 51st state) to be here. What a great group!

Thank you Boston. What a night, what a brilliant sold-out crowd at the Shubert Theatre. You made both my sets fly by. My hour+ on stage felt like a minute. I'll be back, I promise.
